Calvary is not a place; we are a movement of people who have been called to build a church without walls. Our mission is simple – we live out the gospel by connecting people to Christ, Community and their Calling.
Connecting people one by one by one. That’s what we do.
In order to accomplish our mission the church needs a commitment of time, prayer and resources to make that vision a reality. A vision without commitment is nothing more than a daydream.
We have developed a resourcing plan to put our vision of building a church without walls into action. It’s a resourcing plan that involves everyone and will unify our movement as we live out the gospel in our neighborhoods.
We’ve grown one by one by one. And that is the name of our plan… the One By One Initiative.
Over the next two years our vision as a church will be understood in three categories:
• Continue the mission that we are currently doing: connecting people to Christ, Community and their Calling in the world.
• Impact the next generation
• Expand our reach
Even though this vision is divided into three different categories, it is unified as One Vision for One Church. We are proposing that it be resourced by One Fund.
We are asking Calvary to give 8.5 million dollars over the next two years to launch our vision into the future.
