ONE FUND: Beginning in the spring of 2014, the One by One Initiative is also bringing with it a change to One Fund Giving. This means that all designated giving to Calvary (i.e. general fund, building fund, missions fund, barnabas fund, 1% Offering, community outreach, etc.) will now be rolled into One Fund to resource our One Vision.
COMMITMENTS: Together as a church family on May 4 at Eisenhower Auditorium, we brought our written commitments to the One by One Initiative. The beauty of the One Fund approach is that it focuses as much on growth in faith and generosity as it does on raising funds. In a typical capital campaign, a relative few make commitments. One Fund allows everyone to participate since each of us – no matter our current level of giving – is encouraged to take the next step of growth on a generosity pathway.
